Perak MB in the dark over MACC probe on exco

NONE
Zambry Abdul Kadir claims that he is not aware of allegations that the MACC has investigated a senior Perak exco member for graft.Perak Menteri Besar Zambry Abdul Kadir today claimed that he was not aware of allegations that the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) had investigated a senior Perak exco member for corruption.
Zambry said since the MACC had not notified him, he had no information of such an investigation.
“I cannot comment because the matter was not brought to my attention by MACC.

“They (MACC) have not briefed me at all,” he told reporters after a state legislative meeting in Ipoh today.
The menteri besar was earlier asked by Pasir Panjang state assemblyperson Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin to give details of a Perak exco member who was detained by the MACC and questioned for about five hours recently.
Mohammad Nizar alleged that the exco member’s sister and a relative were also questioned by the MACC and that he had a copy of documents from the Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh and the Kinta land and mineral office, pertaining to the investigation.
Perak Pemuda PAS had also urged Zambry to explain the issue because being silent would mean the state administration was not taking corruption seriously.

Apparently YAB MB is one who will not accept a mere 'solve'; instead he would want a proof laden -beyond a shadow of doubt conviction.Pathetic show YAB.
